Returns Policy
Any parts that are stocked by EBMX may be returned at EBMX’s discretion within 48 hours from the date of purchase, only in their original undamaged packaging with a copy of the receipt. Due to the nature of Dangerous Goods, all EBMX Battery Orders are final and are unable to be returned.
Returns will incur a 20% re-stocking fee. If your items were sent free freight, the original cost of freight will be deducted out of your refund balance.
All parts that are not stocked by EBMX have been specially ordered in for you and cannot be returned. This is for orders placed where Qty=0 and your parts are on back-order.
All returns must be authorised by EBMX before they are sent back. Contact us by either email or phone call to confirm if it is eligible for refund/exchange. Electrical items are not refundable.

All items must be in original packaging (including tags/labels) and undamaged. They will be inspected on arrival and if any damage/wear/stain/mark has occurred the refund will be void and the item returned to you.
You will be responsible for the cost of freight to return the item.
If the item is faulty, contact us immediately in regards to warranty as it differs from brand to brand. We will need detailed pictures and information to pass on to our brand suppliers.
Shipping
All orders are packed and sent by EBMX via TNT or Australia Post for Domestic Orders, and DHL Express (or another preferred provider) for International Orders. Once sent, you will be provided with emails updating you to the whereabouts of your order and/or tracking numbers.
Due to the high dollar value of some items, some additional freight / insurance costs may be incurred for these items. Any additional costs will be notified to you prior to dispatch of your order.
Please Note: Batteries cannot be sent through Australia Post. Freight will be sent via courier and costs will be calculated at time of order. You will be notified of the freight cost prior to the item/s being shipped.
Should your order be shipped and lost in transit by our chosen courier, we will do all we can to trace the parcel and recover the items lost at the best of our abilities. Once a lost order has been confirmed by Australia Post or the courier company, we will endeavour to send another order of the same quality, quantity and size to you should the same items still be available from our suppliers.
If a replica item/s cannot be sent, then we will provide a full refund of the sale value to you.
Items that are damaged during transit are not the responsibility of EBMX. We cannot warrant against goods once they leave our premises and are received into the care of a courier company. Should you have concerns as to the damage to your parcel during transit, please contact us for the courier company details.
EBMX will not be held liable for any damage to your parcel and any and all instances of compensation should be taken up with the relevant postal / courier company and not EBMX. Any items damaged during transit will not be replaced free of charge. Full replacement costs will be incurred. Should your parcel be stolen by way of being left unattended once delivered, EBMX will not be held responsible. Should you request “No Signature” on your order, the item/s will be sent as instructed and any misadventure that may occur once delivered will not be the responsibility of EBMX.
Domestic Orders
Delivery is based on standard TNT delivery schedules. While we do our best to ensure prompt delivery times, unfortunately delivery times and may vary depending on your location.
If you require an item urgently, we kindly ask that you contact us directly, and we may charge you additional fees.
Dangerous Goods Orders
Delivery of Dangerous Goods (all electric bikes, motorcycles and batteries are dangerous goods) within Australia is either handled by TNT or by private courier services. Due to the nature of Dangerous Goods Transport, we are unable to provide an automated quote on checkout. Please contact us for a freight quote on Dangerous Goods.
Delivery timeframes for Dangerous Goods can range from 5-30 business days due to TNT’s policy for delivering Dangerous Goods. Tracking on Dangerous Goods is unreliable and outside of our control.
International Orders
For all International orders, we will invoice you for the relevant freight and insurance charges.
Warranty:
We offer warranties on all of our products that are unique to that product and model. If in doubt on what that is – please ask us. Most of our Warranties are Non-Transferable. If any Manufacturers provide warranties which are Transferable, those will be listed on the product page. Please check the Product page for further Warranty information.
QUEENSLAND E-MOBILITY COMPLIANCE & LIABILITY AMENDMENT
Cross-Border Regulatory Acknowledgment
By purchasing any electric bicycle (e-bike), e-scooter, personal mobility device (PMD), or electric motorcycle (e-moped/e-dirt bike) from EBMX Pty Ltd for delivery into Queensland, you explicitly acknowledge that Queensland enforces distinct statutory frameworks under the Transport and Other Legislation (Managing E-mobility Use and Protecting Our Communities) Amendment Act 2026.
Age and Licensing Affirmation
The Buyer certifies that the end-user and primary operator of any purchased e-mobility device or unregistrable electric motorcycle delivered to Queensland is:
- At least 16 years of age at the time of purchase.
- The holder of a current, valid driver licence (including learner, provisional, or open licences) as mandated by Queensland law starting August 31, 2026.
EBMX Pty Ltd accepts zero liability for criminal penalties, fines, or prosecutions arising from the illegal supply to, or operation of devices by, unlicensed individuals or minors under the age of 16.
Transfer of Compliance and Operational Liability
All devices sold by EBMX Pty Ltd are dispatched from New South Wales. Upon cross-border delivery and transfer of possession to a Queensland address:
- Compliance Labels: The Buyer assumes total responsibility for ensuring that any e-bike operated in a Queensland public space features the required, permanently affixed EN 15194 compliance label following the conclusion of the 6-month transitional grace period.
- Public Infrastructure Bans: The Buyer acknowledges that high-powered, unregistrable electric motorcycles (including but not limited to Sur-Ron, Talaria, and devices exceeding 250W power outputs or 25km/h unassisted design speeds) are legally classified as “prohibited bikes” on Queensland public infrastructure.
- Private Property Restriction: The Buyer explicitly agrees that such high-powered devices are purchased strictly for use on private property only.
Indemnification Against Police Seizure and Destruction
Under Queensland law, police possess summary powers to immediately confiscate, seize, and permanently destroy non-compliant e-mobility devices and prohibited unregistrable motorbikes.
By executing this purchase, the Buyer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EBMX Pty Ltd, its directors, and employees against any financial loss, property loss, asset destruction, third-party liability, or legal fees resulting from civil or criminal law enforcement actions taken by the Queensland Police Service or Department of Transport and Main Roads against the Buyer or the device.
Exclusion of Misleading Conduct Claims
The Buyer agrees that EBMX Pty Ltd has provided conspicuous, clear, and unambiguous product disclosures regarding Queensland path and road restrictions at the digital point of sale. The Buyer waives all rights to claim compensation, order cancellations, or refunds under Australian Consumer Law regarding device “unfitness for purpose” if that unfitness stems directly from Queensland’s statutory public space bans.

By registering your details and/or placing a web order with us, your details will be stored in our POS (point of sale) system for ease of use for future orders. Your shipping details are only shared with our nominated Postal/Courier Services for purposes of posting the order to you. We also reserve the right to fulfil your order with items less than the quantity that was ordered if that is the only quantity available at processing the order.
In order to help prevent the spread of fraud, we reserve the right to ask for a copy of your Drivers Licence and/or credit card at the time of purchase to confirm identity.
Orders will be held back and not posted until identity has been checked if we feel there is a warranted need for this to occur. We may also conduct a credit card pre-authorisation for the web order value in Australian Dollars if we feel the transaction is fraudulent. A pre-authorisation will be held for a minimum of 7 (seven) days before order/s will be shipped.
All prices stated on our website are RRP and set by the suppliers we use, unless the item is discounted, these prices are also subject to change at our discretion and without notice. We do not accept web order lay-buys. All items and orders must be paid in full at the time of placing the order.
In the event an incorrect price is listed on an item/s on our website, we reserve the right to refuse to sell the item/s at the incorrect price and process the sale at the correct price. You have the right to not proceed with the corrected price and your order will be cancelled. Any funds that we have received for the order will be refunded to you. The incorrect price will be immediately updated online as soon as we are made aware of the error.
We accept Visa, MasterCard and Stripe payments via our checkout.
Product images used on our website are sourced from our suppliers. Occasionally an image may be incorrect or not show the correct product with the correct part number. We reserve the right to take no responsibility as to the accuracy of these images and will always update and change an incorrect image if and when we are made aware of such an error if it does occur.
